Our History

Founded in 1955, Frueh Building Systems began as a small, family-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality metal fasteners to local clients.  Over the years, we have grown significantly, expanding our services and reach while maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.   Based in Neckartenzlingen, Germany, with a strong presence in the USA, our company has grown from pioneering the first hidden fasteners for mineral fiber boards in 1958 to becoming a global leader in hidden fastening technology.

Over the next twenty years we continuously expanded our development and production facilities, securing numerous patents and intellectual property rights. Embracing CAD technologies in 1994 transformed our in-house tool manufacturing, enabling us to design prototypes and complex progressive dies, and explore new markets with customized stamped parts. In 2017, we extended our footprint by opening a sales office and warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

Our portfolio now features over 500 high-quality products "Made in Germany," including hidden fastening systems suitable for interior and exterior applications such as tongue and groove boards, composite decking, and other wall and ceiling cladding. Engineered to be compatible with diverse profiles and materials, our systems guarantee stable connections and secure installations.
