German perfectionists

FRÜH Building Systems grew out of a German family business which, with its uniquely comprehensive product range, ranks among the leading international suppliers of installation and fastening systems to the construction industry.

FRÜH Schnellbautechnik GmbH was founded by Friedrich Früh as "Friedrich Früh Schnellbautechnik” in 1955. After the invention of the first fastening system for mineral fiber boards, production began in Zizishausen in 1958.

After developing other new and innovative fastening systems for a variety of wood profiles and panels, FRÜH quickly established itself as an integral partner in the then young dry interior construction sector. In 1971, FRÜH relocated to a considerably larger building 10 miles away in Neckartenzlingen. The first of multiple FRÜH patents and trademarks date back to 1974, paving the way for the continuous expansion of products in the dry construction market.

With the introduction of CAD technologies, FRÜH opened an in-house tooling center in order to offer rapid prototyping. With hyper focus on mass customization, the idea of combining the low unit costs of mass production with the flexibility of individual customization, FRÜH began producing a variety of metal stamped parts for customers on a contract basis. In 1998 the company was renamed FRÜH Schnellbautechnik GmbH. Frank Früh took over the management from his father, who died the same year. In 2017, FRÜH Schnellbautechnik opened FRÜH Building Systems, a stock-holder, distributor, and sales office for its products near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
